The Savage Hearts were formed in 2022 by musician Evan Walsh, former member of notable Irish rock ‘n’ roll band The Strypes, who from 2012-2019 released 3 top 10 albums and toured the world supporting acts such as Arctic Monkeys, Liam Gallagher and Blur as well as headlining sold out tours to their own large fanbase. Now Evan has teamed up with a whole new team of musicians to form garage/psych/punk band The Savage Hearts, worshipping at the alter of highly mysterious and dubiously talented Cavan rock ‘n’ roll hero Eddie Cruizer. Already the band has released 3 No. 1 singles on the Irish Downloads chart, supported legendary acts such as The Boomtown Rats and The Undertones and appeared at festivals such as Electric Picnic, Sea Sessions and others. The band made its UK debut with shows at legendary London venues Gaz’s Rockin’ Blues and The Dublin Castle Camden last year and 2025 promises to be an even bigger year for The Savage Hearts - EDDIE CRUIZER RULES O.
