Jamie McIntyre started out playing in pubs in Galway. In 2024, the singer was selected by Gavin James to support him in Paris on his European tour, which also led to him working with Imelda May and performing at Electric Picnic. 

That summer, he wrote an ode to his home county “Over Galway Town” which became a viral sensation. A sold out debut run of shows across Ireland and the UK rounded off 2025 and 2026 has followed that trajectory.
