Jameson Connects is bringing a line-up of the freshest Irish hip hop artists to Monroe’s Galway for one night only on Thursday, 10th March, headlined by one of Ireland’s most prolific young rap stars, Malaki.

Bursting onto the scene in 2019, Malaki has been carving out a path as one of the country’s most exciting talents. Experimenting with a variety of Hip-Hop styles and spoken word elements to convey life growing up in Dublin, he has featured as one of 2FM’s Rising artist choices as well as Goldenplec.com’s Plec Picks while following the release of his debut album, Chrysalis, in 2021.

Joining Malaki at Monroe’s are Neo-Soul rappers, Bricknasty. Featured in District Magazine’s Future of Irish music in 2021, the group combine R&B, hip-hop and an anarchic musical approach which stems from growing up in Dublin’s Ballymun, where they absorbed every form of music culture from traditional Irish ballads to 90s rave garage music.
